The Ziegfeld follies started byFlorenz Ziegfeld and inspired by Anna Held was staged at the Jardin de Paris and then the New Amsterdam Theatres (Started by Klaw and Erlayer). They copied to an extend the French Folies Bergeres following the Florodora girls. Together with Vaudeville and other Revues the arrival of the musical really took to storm and Irving Berlin mastered it.
